Our expert clinical team includes ENT Surgeons, audiologists, speech and language therapists and radiologists.
Our unit also has associations and access to a large number of other medical specialists, clinicians and educators.
Our unit operates closely with the Carel du Toit Centre where children with hearing loss learn spoken language through the use of hearing technology, natural learning experiences and parental guidance. The centre comprises of a pre-school, primary school and early intervention (CHAT) centre. Children under the age of 3 years are seen by an early intervention team at the CHAT Centre and once over the age of 3 years attend the school or are seen as regular visitors.
